Requirements:
EXPERIENCE in statutory child protection work is essential, i. e. experience with assessments, children who have experienced physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect, family support, interventions and court work.
You must be committed to working to meet the needs of children, i.e.
• be able to manage complex child protection cases, work closely with schools, police and the courts
• achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people
• maintain accurate records
• prepare and present reports
• give evidence and written assessments for legal proceedings
• have excellent English skills.
