Salary: £21,000 (£18,000 + £3,000 sleep-ins)
Interviews: 8th & 9th December 2009
Start Dates: Arranged Individually
Location: Shrewsbury
– Close to various international airports (Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool)
– Historical market town.
The Employer Keys Childcare has a long history in child protection and aim to help these young people prepare for the future. The homes will be medium to long term placements.
Children first: Vulnerable children and young people who have experienced trauma through significant abuse deserve the very best help to put their lives back on track.
Meeting the challenge: Challenging behaviours are often the result of significant abuse and negative earlier experiences. But no matter how difficult the behaviour, we don’t give up.
Keeping it positive: All children and young people are respected with a positive regard.
It’s the individual: An all-embracing therapeutic model meets the needs of each child in all aspects of their life. Skilled care supported by therapists, clinical psychologists, health and education professionals help support the young people to deal with their past experiences and prepare for the future.
The position of Trainee Manager is to support the Registered Home Manager in providing the best quality childcare in a safe and care focused environment for the young people.
A Trainee Manager will be responsible for delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for development within the home and all day to day management matters. They will demonstrate the ability to build on the well established principles and practice standards and pro-activity contribute to the continuous improvement of childcare standards across the company.
