The young people have histories of abuse, neglect, chronic trauma and multiple disrupted placements, experiences that have severely disrupted their early attachment relations.

These ‘therapeutic’ environments (sanctuary) combine the essential safety and containment needed to enable the young people to commence and continue on this journey, with opportunities to develop primary attachments through which they can learn to feel and think differently about themselves, others and the world they live in.
The Job:
You will be expected to run a home and create the therapeutic environment which this employer provides. Once established you will assume responsibility for the operation of the home by overseeing a team of 7 staff, working with budgets and following UK legislation as well as working directly with the young people living in the home.
